I'm looking around for a RHS swing away wheel carrier to suit a live axle 100 series Kaymar bumper replacement. I already have the LHS, but now want to carry two spares.

Does anyone know where I might start looking for one of these things secondhand (that's not ARB)? Any big 4x4 wreckers in the eastern states or someting similar for example.

Cheers

Try Kaymar, they sometimes have old stock that you may get for a good price.

I *think* you'll find that if you want to run a left and right side carrier, that both carriers need to be a bit shorter as the standard left and right carriers will hit in the middle when you close them. Checking the ARB catalogue, they have different part numbers for either single sided carriers than for twin carriers (from memory). The only way around this would be either just buy a RHS carrier and modify (shorten) whatever needs shortening, or sell you single LHS carrier and buy twin carriers.

I looked at doing the same, but decided it was too expensive and I didn't want to modify them, so I just carry an un-mounted spare. This also saves a bit of weight, whilst no being as convenient as having 2 mounted spares,
