G'day everyone

Just thinking a few things through - has anybody removed the pre filter (on a GQ patrol) and had a straight pipe running to the main filter, running a K&N filter in the main filter and a Donaldson pre cleaner on the snorkle? Can anyone see any problems with doing this? I was thinking most 4WDs only have 1 filter anyway so it should be alright?
