Has anyone experienced the use of this equipment from awd technologies especially with an after market turbo on a deisel landcruiser

awd technologies are no longer agents for tunit.
There are several other like products, BUT they only work on electronically controlled diesel engines (1HD-FTE in the case of the Landcruiser TD), not the 1HZ engine.
See Hallif you have a 1HZ & want to install a turbo. If you have a 1HD-FTE engien
check out the -TEKor other like products.
First up get yourself a 3" aust system, you will be needing that if you fit a turbo.

AWDTech are no longer dealing with Tunit but have the DPChip instead. Its available at ARB City Southern. Theres a report on a vehicles fitted with one on another
forum the dyno shows that it got 35% more power and 53% more torque but had an intercooler fitted as
well. They go hand in hand. You need some sort of chip - dpchip, unichip, other to bump up the fuel to take the full advantage of the intercooler but seems to give excellent results when set up right.

Read somewhere the Tunit and DPChip are one and the same, they changed the name because some O/S product was known by the same name.
