On the 23rd Nov I made a post regarding a faulty Hyland Coupling on a camper trailer I had purchased privately, and RV Centre Caravans at Logan in Brisbane wanted nothing to do with it telling me that warranties are not transferable.
One of the replys gave me the contact No. of Darren Hyland. Since then he has come to MY PLACE and repaired the coupling with no charge. You cant ask for any more than that.
Im more than satisfied

That's good news Wilko...

What exactly was the problem with it, & what did he do to fix it???

He actually picked it up from my place on the Friday and returned it today {Monday]
I was home when he dropped it off but I could tell he was itching to get going ASAP.[ Xmas rush]
All he said was wrong, was it needed a minor adjustment behind the large bolt at the base of the coupling.
I thanked him and he was off
Great service ah

Wilko - I have 2 friends with that coupling - a simple ball on a horizontal axis.
Intereted in knowing what the fault was........Seems foolproof.

I can never understand why warranties aren't transferable, do they warranty the product or the owner?
