It seems I made a phurk-up on my last post by the same title, co I deleted the photo-bucket piccys, not realising they would drop of here as well. I even deleted them from my camera etc, so I've had to take a few more (better ones anyway I think).

Didnt see the other pic's but hell mate you could have cleaned it first !!!
I have been in this cockpit and there are more switches and gadgets than 2 hands can fiddle with, but im sure the more he hangs around 4by types he will find an excuse to fit more?
Better go to post 28956 mate and fill in my reply to banjo about your charger too !

Cheers Pesty

Sop. Cease and desist Roachie. I'm getting dizzy trying to take it all in.

How on earth do you concentrate on the road. You must need a fulltime co-pilot to help out LOL

Ive heard some of them gauges have issues - better get a warning gauge for each one of them.

those gauges infront there would really get in the way of picking lines and would annoy me thinks..

At 6'2" it's normally an issue Truckster......but you're right, sometimes I have to just cock-up myself (so to speak hahaha) to see the track a little better.

Trucky isn't far off that height either Roachie and adds traction by virtue of the mass added too. A bit like me, but I am taller. I need some gauges I think over the middle section rather than over the speedo. Need a reversing camera and screen to protect little Lexus cars......

Roachie,

All is not lost. For those that missed them in the first post.

Pesty's right. You need to add an inbuilt vacuum cleaner to your essential equipment. Attach it beside the outlet that just blows dust around the cabin LOLOLOLOLOL

Don't laugh....I've actually got an outlet above my head (not in any of the pics) to which I can attach a hose with air-blower gun for dusting down the cab (a-la the same way trucky's do!!)

Thanks for the pics Roachie. Damn and I thought I'd have dramas finding a spot for one gauge. You'd find dramas finding a spot for just one more, then again maybe not.

Thanks

Reason yours is smaller is that appears to be the image size of 400x300 when expanded (when you click on them).

They are housed on the EO server, thats why they popup with the EO frame around them.

Open a photobucket and see how ya go.

a) The truck cannot move because of the weight

b) The electrical system shytes itself because of the load

c) Roachie can't fit in the driver's seat because of all the gadgets.

Evening Gramps.

They don't call him 2 dicks for nothing.

Couldn't be that silly tugging one.

I clearly remeber one night after a very nice meal at the Port Vincent hotel ( served by Member -Aussiechef) Roachie was showing of the 'cock-pit' of his truck when nothing would work.

He forgot to deactivate the 'kill switch' that took out the 3rd isolator which stops the dash pod from showing you that it is isolated and not using any juice from the battery, which must be in activation stage so that the 2nd isolator - for dick heads who can't remember the switching sequence - can be turned on enabling some red lights to illuminate and flash which tell you to turn on the 1st isolator.

Anyway, after all that the EGT data monitor/tracker illuminated which is what I wanted to see in the first place.

I vey!

I suppose its better than having you million dollar JEEP sitting in the JEEP dealers workshop for 3 days because every mothering on board computer went into 'kill mode' and shut down making the bitch of a thing dead as a door nail.

Like to get the coota who invented 'fly by wire' and connect his bitz to Roachies electrical loom.

That will make Roachie's eyes light up

Very well put Lucy......I take it all back that you're losing your bloody marbles, cos you only witnessed me do that "secret men's business" stuff once and you've committed it to memory. Only trouble is, now that you've gone and blabbed about it to the whole world, I'm gunna have to spend the next weekend (4 days over xmas) re-wiring the whole phriggin' shootin' match so it remains un-steal-able.......NB: there is an ulterior motive for me adding soooo much weight to the Patrol; normally even the best wired/alarmed vehicle can be nicked if the mongrels want it bad enuff....just by lifting it up onto a flat-top with a forklift.......Mate, they ain't invented the forklift that'll hoist my bomb off the ground yet?!!!!!! hehehehehe
Gramps; don't believe anything Lucy says......he's obviously neglected his pill regime AGAIN!!!!!! hahahaha
Cheers
Roachie ;-)))

Why not get one of those new steering wheels with all the gauges in digital read out you just have to press a button and it will give you a read out?

I noticed the blackout screen blocking your forward vision. I take it this is for instrument driving hey? I've seen it on planes so no reason it wouldn't work on your truck.

Kind regards
