think long and hard before you go down this track ,as you may have read in a posting of mine about a week ago I have a 2000 mod GU 3.0 td 211000 ks just found metal in the filter, hard to start even when hot
Rang around this week looking at about $7000 for a s/h 130000km engine fitted
Found one with only 900km on it -$8000 just for the engine!
To fit one to your navara Iwould imagine the whole computer system would have to be fitted as well Could turn into an expensive exercise ,very expensive
Good luck!

If you can pick the lot up for $3000 might be worth a look, be aware of the problems they can have though
As for mine Ithink we'll be trading it on a 4.2 ASAP

Do your sums carefully. On the face of it, it would perhaps be prudent to use that $3K towards an ST-R and sell the old girl privately. Lot less stress.
