Was this
pic taken in
Sydney by any chance, cause I saw a
pic in one of the womens magazines recently of Lleyton Hewitt and his family getting into a black Hummer just like this one.
I know there is more than 1 black Hummer around, but it was very similar. Could be just coincidence.

looks like someone didn't pay their bill and the "broethers" have dropped in to pay a 'visit'...
I guess if you can afford to have a 4WD like that, you can't afford the time to take it off road so why not lower it and make it useless for off rd....
Would love to see his missus try and park at the Coles
carpark... I guess if she goes fast enough she'll fit between the crummydores and Prados at the shopping cneter.. then again.. park wherever you damn
well please.. who cares about the
parking fine right...

silly question. Is that the real thing or a copy. Reason I ask is that there is a company (Melb I think) who can do this to GQ patrols. I bet it's not cheap though!

Its cheap relative to the original - about $16,000 I think I saw somewhere.

UDM,
That is the H2 Hummer. Not bad but....!
Waiting for the H3 to be released in Australia, Then I'll upgrade the Jackaroo.
Wish GM were going to have a TD option but I don't think so. The yanks are not big on diesel donks in 4B's and the Hummer H3 is only currently available in petrol.
One can always wish and hope.

Saw quite a few Hummers in the US recently. The newer models are pretty far removed from the original hummers and really have lost a lot of the toughness - they now seem to be designed as a consumer vehicle rather than a tough truck.
I am sure I saw H3's advertised for around US$30k so it will be interesting to see what they sell for here.

Correct - they are all about image now, not really their original offroad design
watched a show the otehr night on MTV, they are all about 1200 speakers, 26in chrome rims with low profile tires and dribble like that now

H2 is a lovely car..
But i prefer the H1. More rugged, capable and it just reaks with OFFROAD.

Been for a bit of a squirt in 3 x H1 Hummers (the mil-spec types) over the last few years. The central tyre inflation system is a winner. Air up and down on the fly - you gotta be happy with that.
Impressive machine alright, just too bloody wide for lots of stuff. I'm led to believe the H2 and H3 are 'Hummer' in looks only. Good fun though.
