Hello all

Q' for the computer savvy.
Is it possible to save/transfer from old comp' A to new comp' B the column of "favourites". I have many saved in the old comp' and wish to add to new.
Is it possible at all, or how can it be done "easily"?? Not asking too much am I???

Greetings

Commonly used WEB browsers allow you to import and export your favourites in various formats.

I assume you are using the same brand web browser on your new system as the old one. Simply export from one, burn the file onto a CD or USB storage device, and import into the other.

Choose manage Bookmarks from your favourite WEB browser Bookmarks menu for access to these options. Use of the browsers help file will further explain this capability. Use the search term " bookmarks" .

All your 4WD and Caravan reference URL's including of course Explore Ozz bookmark, will be in your new browser without any difficulty (just to keep the message on topic:-))

Regards

Paul

if its XP goto DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS/USERNAME/FAVORITES and you found them

Favorites is just a normal Folder. Links are almost like files, You can create folders in there and organise them too

Copy the Favorites folder, then put it on a floppy disk, copy contents of disk to new machine. If yours is more than mine which is 350kb you will amazed.
