Hello all.

Just come back from Cape York, we went up to go fishing and to have a look around. What a trip, words can't express the good times we had, we flew up for obvious reasons, it was great to see Cape York from the air rather than just the ground. Although the cruiser does feel a little safer at times than those small aeroplanes. We went fishing with Garry Wright for four days, what a time we had, plenty of fish and a guide who knows what he is talking about. It was good to be there with someone who knows the region, we learnt heaps about the place and caught heaps of fish, queenes, trout, barra, Gt's etc. I strongly suggest that people look up Garry when your up there, he is a wealth of knowledge and a good person. Dissapointing to see what some of the locals are doing to the place, but those who have been up there will know what i'm talking about, it would be great to stay at a nice resort at the tip, like one that offers good service right at the top. HA HA Local management yeah right! Anyway cape york is still the ultimate place to see and fish, a great place of Australia.

He certanly is good at what he does.
And yes the cape does look different from the air.
I have flown over it a few times and for those heading up that way try and go on a joy flight.

All the best
Eric
