100 series L/C Rims

Hi,
I have a 2001 100 Series Diesel L/C RV model with the standard R/V very narrow rims. I have been looking at replaceing them with 16 x 8 steel rims from a 100 series GXL.
Someone told me that as my L/C has a live front axle and the GXL has IFS the rims are different and will not fit. (something to do with the offset of the rim)
This all sound a bit wierd to me, does anyone out their know if this is true?

It depends what year model gxl there off .If the rims came off a gxl with IFS no they wont fit.

All the 4.5 litre petrol and 1Hz diesel 100series GXLs have the rims you need.

The V8 and Turbodiesel models had the IFS - their offset is way different, and won't fit.

Hi TG,

I'm in Wheelers Hill, outer east Melbourne and I have a set of 4 of these with some old but inflated tyres on them. You are welcome to bolt them on and see if they fit.
