Hi,
I am looking at installing a twine shower in my 99 Jackaroo TD. Has anyone got one in their jackaroo? I have seen them in cruisers but I have no idea where or how they fit in a Jack.
I have already fitted a second battery so the back corner is not o go-er.

Hi Tim,
Cant comment on the installation of the twine on the jack.
but
Glind do a portable shower kit which I have fitted. The only permanent fitting under the bonnet is a short hose, in which the shower kit plugs into. The rest of the shower (heat exchanger and pump) is kept in a 'briefcase'. This system makes it relatively easy to fit into crowded engine bays. The portable shower is slightly more expensive than the standard kit, but installation cost is much less. Maybe its something to keep in mind if the glind installion in your example is too much of a 'hassle'.

I have seen installations on Pjero's & Triton's where the heat exchanger & sometimes the pump are mounted behind the bullbar.

ExplorOz are about to become distributers of the Twine shower system and it will come with the correct mounting brackets for each vehicle type. I haven't got all the specs yet, but you can contact the owner of the Twine business - now
John Eggunhuissen from Getabout 4WD Adventure Tours - see contact details in our Business Search Engine.

I should be totally honest, its actually a copy of the twine that I built. I think I will go behind the bull bar.
