Hi,
Which tide times do you use to give an idea of tides up at
Cape Melville?? I've got a program that will give me different ports so should be able to get as close as
Cooktown or Cape Flattery but thought I'd
check.

Overcome all tide, moon phase etc etc problems anywhere in the world by downloading Wtides from the web. Even overlays the maori fishing calender for the hunter gatherers. Able to use a global map with ALL admirlaty tide stations on it to locate the closest. Handy little thing to have on the desktop.
Freeware but they do ask for an optional donation.
Most modern marine GPS or chart plotters also download the tide data from the closest tide station to where you are situated - but u have to b there.
