Hi,

What sort of mileage are you guys racking up on the 3.0. My own 3.0 is only on 30K but the one we use in work, 2003 model (s spec) has just hit 140K. We should start to see some high mileage 3.0 litres by now. So any high mileage 3.0 litres out there?

Thanks

just like any other work vehicle! After I finish typing this i will be jumping in the ute selecting low 3rd and flogging the living daylights out of it for the rest of the night. - how fast does a toyota 79 series ute go in reverse up a decline with a truck following it? dunno but they take it time and time again

Yeh, I've heard of the Nissan dealers explaining away the problem by saying that most of the blow-ups have been in Telstra or Police vehicles. But their driving habits haven't changed; all the other models/brands seemed to take that sort of punishment, somehow the 3.0L's don't.
I used to work for Telstra also, and I know what sort of punishment the 4wd's got, and they seemed to go forever. Why not the 3.0L?
