Hi,
Browsing around ARB in Welshpool today and I came across a 1700w invertor for $400. Normal price $850.
Story told to me was that it has been installed, never used, and is now going cheap due to a change in the project it was bought for.
I'd get into trouble if I bought it, so I letting others know who might not care if they get into trouble, or can justify it to SWMBO.
I know nothing more about it, so call ARB if you want to know more.

Thanks, Tim
However. if it's original price was $850.00 for 1700 watts. it's prolly not a "true sine wave" inverter, but is a "modified square wave" inverter. Ok fer some stuff but not fer sensitive stuff, microwaves or air-cons.
Even though prices are tumbling on this sort of gear, pure sine wave
inverters are still about a "dollar per watt".
