Hi guys and guyessses :-)

I recently had cause to contact "Outback 4WD Interiors" because I had put too high a wattage bulb in my roof console. After leaving it on too long, too many times, the small light panel melted.

I contacted http://www.4wdinteriors.com.au/ and told them of my problem and asked if they carried spare light panels. Next day I got an e-mail from Bruce at http://www.4wdinteriors.com.au/ and he said he carried the panels and if I could send him my postal addie he would get one in the mail asap.

I sent another e-mail with the info he needed and asked him the costs.

Reply came back within minutres saying no cost and that it would be sent that afternoon.

I went back to Bruce and said that I had had the roof console for over 3 years now and didnt expect him to send me a new panel for free and asked again what the cost would be. Bruce would not hear a word of it and next thing I know there is an Express parcel at my front door with not only a new panel but also a couple of the 'correct' bulbs.

I rang http://www.4wdinteriors.com.au/ and told them just how impressed I was and was told not to worry about it as they are only too happy to help and support anyone in the 4WD community.

Well done http://www.4wdinteriors.com.au/ I will be a supporter of you and your business for many years to come.

I have a similar story about "Staun Products". I know that these are not an expensive item, but it's the principle that matters.

I had bought a set of their original deflators which were made from aluminium. They never really worked all that well, and it was a guessing game as to whether or not they brought my tyres down to the same pressure each time. Note that I had bought these years ago.

A quick call to Staun to ask how I could set them a little more reliably, and presto - a promise to ship me a new set of brassies on receipt of the original aluminiums! I sent them in an envelope overnight and the new ones were on my doorstep two days later - and they even returned my pre-filled return envelope unused and paid for freight themselves!!!

Not bad. Since I had bought mine they had upgraded and developed the line, but offered a free upgrade to me years later. It's great to see this Aussie company doing well overseas now - and no wonder. It's a rare thing these days. Well done Staun :) .... and THANK YOU!
