Never heard of 'em Rick.....maybe they are the ones that were causing the Exploders to tip over in the states!!!! haha. You've done the right thing by asking the question on here; so far the lack of replies would tend to suggest that nobody knows much about 'em.
Good luck mate

Firestone are one of the brands we retail at the shop, and we sell around 300 firestone tyres a month, and as yet to see one come back for an issue.

Firestone are bridgestone.

Firestone are a good tyre now the tyres that caused all the trouble on the Explorer are not in production anymore.

Have bee running some Firestone ASRs on the pajero.

Lasted well. Made in New Zealand (will leave space for coments!).

Seem to be a hard rubber that does not have the grip on bitumen that some other tyres do. Otherwise fine.
I understand that Firestone is a cheaper brand name used by Bridgstone.

I have just fitted Firestone Firehawk RMTs after being very unhappy with the wear rate of Cooper STs. So far I am happy, considering they have a reasonably 'aggressive' tread pattern, they are quiet, & ride well other than a slight 'rumble' as I pull up, a bit like a trail bike knobby! They also maintain their profile quite well when deflated to 28psi.
