Last night I had a slow race down Nany Goat
Hill on the edge of Kalgoorlie between my work 75 series and my 80 series
The stats that matter
Both: front diff 4.1 rear diff 4.11 Motors bog stock 1hz 75series with 193k and 80 series 207k
80 series. gearbox H150f 1st gear 4.529:1 Transfer caseHF1A low range 2.488:1
75 series gearbox H55F 1st gear4.83:1 Transfer case 1.633:1
Both had standard size tyres
The verdict I thought the ute would be slowest but despite the low transfer case on the 80 however by the bottom of the
hill the ute was about 2 lenghts in front making the 80 the victor.

G'day Davoe
That is a surprising result. Mind you 80's are the best vehicle on the road so I suppose it shouldn't be such a surprise!
Cheers

How long ago was that. Its been a bit down
hill since 98. Now the
hay street girls arnt allowed on the footpath and the skimpys have to wear more than an inuit eskimo in winter. Also the foundary has been closed down but their "entertainment" stopped nearly 2 years anyway cheers
