Hello All,

I need some input regarding adapting a 2300 series 350 Holley carb to my Nissan P40 engine.
If anyone knows where I could get an adapter and jetting advise it would be appreciated.

Leo - can't be of help (technically) I'm sorry..... but this engine should go like stink with a Holley. I presume it's still in a G60?

The P40 was (I believe) originally built for Nissan forklists, and as such has oodles of low-end torque....

Nice!!

Thanks Chrispy,
Actualy it`s in a `84 MQ Wagon, I just want to be able to get spares for the carb a little easier as the kits I`ve bought for the original are not upto scratch.

If anybody has the parts off the shelf you need then Lynx Corp will have.
It does not matter what you do to the P40 it will not improve fuel consumption.
You can put any carburettor, extractors, 300mm exhaust stacks or anything else on the P40 and it will stay the same fuel consumption.

Thanks David Au

I`ll follow that with Lynx Corp. I`m not too worried about the fuel consumption because it`s still a lot less than one of the newer petrol 4x4`s. I`ve got a 120lt tank and a 5 speed so it should be OK.
