I own a 1982 BJ42 Landcruiser. Does anybody know of a book of some description that provides information solely on the 40 series Landcruiser. I have got the shared manuals by Gregorys, etc. The ones that show me how to fit a windscreen to a 60 series. I spent the weekend trying to work out how to refit the backseats like one would do a jigsaw puzzle. I gave up on the
seat belts, far to confusing. I’m sure there would be something out there that would provide information from
seat belts to body panels to drive train. If anybody can point me in the right direction I’d much appreciate it.

Try getting hold of the Toyota factory manual, most of what you want is covered, especially in the older ones.
