We are looking at doing Googs Track in September. Can anyone tell me if it is "two way" these days and what are the UHF channels? Thanx Trev

i'm certain the trak is still both ways, however give the yellabinna reserve ranger a call on 08 8625 7035 to confirm. it is recommended that uhf radios be tuned to channel 10 on this trak

Hi Trev, travelled Googs track first week in June. Track was very dry, corrugated in places (ex people who don't drop their tyre pressures) and some of the dunes were very bumpy with large potholes. It was an enjoyable trip being done in the company of 3 L series subarus, 1 subaru forester, 1 prado, 1 jeep and our 4runner. No-one had any problems. I think the recommended direction is from south to north although there is an info sign when entering the northern end.

hope this helps,

Werner

Thanx - We will be heading south to north. I agree about the tyre pressures. People must think the wheels will fall off at 20 psi! Trev
