Can anyone suggest the best sealant product for a canvas swag. My Swag is about 8 years old now and is staring to get a bit soft and seeps a bit of water in the rain. Some of the horse rug sealants are a bit too greasy for a swag, plus they stink to much to sleep under. Any suggestions would be great.....

You can get a sealer for re-proofing canvas tents, its a paint on stuff and you should be able to get it from the larger camping stores.

It does smell for a short while a bit like any new canvas.

You can try a couple of cans of "Schotch Guard" from the super markets as it helps to water proof and keep your swag clean. I used to use it in the Army for water proofing jackets and jumpers etc.
It is great on your car seats too, my Patrol seats still remain un-stained even after 6 years, 200,000+ Ks, long trips and 2 kids / teenagers!!
Cheers I hope it helps you Peter Guy.
