Blue is typically for cold water and Red is for hot water if your van has a water heater.
other than that, the pipes are identical. This type of pipe and fittings are generally of the John Guest brand.

If you are not in a particular hurry, Caravans Plus have a full range of pipe (both blue and red) and fittings you can order online.

Just make sure it's food grade if use for drinking etc apparently safer for you.
