Looking at purchasing GME TX 3400 UHF with additional channels
Not sure which frequencies to select
Can any one give me some suggestions of frequencies e.g. police etc
I live in Geelong and travel to most regions at some stage so any advice would be appreciated
Am looking at purchasing from Prestige in Perth but open to other suggestions
Will be fitting into GU patrol so looking at remote head to fit neatly into console area

Regards,
Mark

Mark, I'm in Geelong also. I have hard copies of numerous freqs ranging from police to SES to Shopping Malls to the local council all suitable for Geelong. It'll take me a coupla days to put something together for you. I'll member message you later.

Mark,
Closer to home, try Time-Plus Communications in Sydney Rd. Brunswick, just down the road from Optus Oval. Some of the best information I have had and price close enough to Prestige to make it worthwhile. Free advice on fitting will probably save you more. They have a GU set-up as their company vehicle

Hi Mark,

I have the same unit installed in my GU. I mounted the remote head on the console between the ash tray and cup holders using double sided tape. The cable to the rest of the unit runs down the hole for the hand brake to the rest of the radio which is mounted under the large console storage bin. It only requires four screws being undone on the rear of this console to gain access.

Regards

Steve
