Hopefully they will have altered the layering of place names so that commonly known towns are more visible on more layers.
An example is
Bowen in Queensland. For much of the zoom level the town is shown as Merinda and you don’t see the town name until zoomed in until one can’t see where it is until you lose any perspective of where it is in relation to other major towns.
There are lots of towns displaying like this.

It's currently doing it's job so apart from having major tracks/roads stand out more from minor ones I have no complaints
