I have heard that Isuzu may leave Australia if the new emission laws come into effect in 2025. Does anyone know anymore regarding this as my son is considering a new Dmax.

I was under the impression that Australia followed the European standard so I don't think it would be right.

Isuzu sell truck as well so does this mean they are going to also abandon the truck marker? I doubt it.

Emission laws aren't just dropped as a big surprise for everyone. Vehicle manufacturers are advised of them years in advance.

Thanks for the replies, does anyone here have the latest model dmax and towed around 2 tonne caravan with real world fuel figures. My son’s other option would be the latest Hilux , has anyone done any real comparisons between the 2 or perhaps thoughts on both vehicles.
