Place Comment: Israelite Bay Telegraph Station Ruins

Hi, looking at travelling from Esperance to Caiguna along the coast using the telegraph track. Taking my 12yr old son on an adventure. Anyone with some information on track conditions and is it worth the risk going solo in our 2016 hi lux with good amount of T of self recovery gear.
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance Paul.

The Nuytsland Nature Reserve Trek has the eastern half of your journey. Link as NNR below. We towed a camper from Balladonia to the abandoned tele station and then back out via wheat fields to Esperance. Your rig should do it easily with correct tyre pressures on soft sand. There were flooded sections, some with bypasses

Have a look at pix in Point Dempster for track conditions.

I sent one final shout after him to stick to the track, to which he replied “All right,” That was the last ever seen of Gibson - E Giles 23 April 1874

Just drove the track from the little known Wylie Scarp track east of Balbinya through to Caiguna - visited a few different places on the way - no problems on that part of route.

Looking for adventure.
In whatever comes our way.
