Hi Folks,
I've been creating some off-road
treks and sometimes need to use 'cycling' instead of 'driving' as the form of navigation.
I've found that if any section of my trek uses 'cycling' and I then select '4WD' from the 'Suitable for' dropdown menu, when recording details about the trek, it will stuff up the travel time.
The fix is to simply NOT select '4WD' from the 'Suitable for' dropdown menu.
Hopefully the screenshots explain this better.
Incorrect travel time
Don't select '4WD' from this dropdown menu.
Correct travel time after unselecting '4WD' from the dropdown menu.

For any calculated route segment the avg speed will be displayed in a box that you simply override before clicking accept.

Hi Guys,
Yes I realise this and change it to a faster pace when I choose ‘cycling’. to mimic drive pace The issue is that when a trek combines a cycling and a driving section AND you then choose “4WD” from that dropdown menu it creates the error.
I’ve tried it on several different tracks and the error always happens. It always corrects itself once I unselect 4WD from the drop down menu y

That drop down setting should not do anything to the routing calculation system. It is purely for filtering and information purposes. So I am very confused why this is changing on your result.
I would be happy to continue investigating with you if you would not mind starting a new help desk (see footer link below) job and give me the trekid number of the
treks that exhibits this so I can
check it out and see what is happening.
