This is just a quick heads up to advise the regular
Forum users that you will notice a change coming.
This change is the removal of the Alert Moderator button.
If you need to raise attention to a problem in the
Forum please use the Help Desk (scroll to bottom of page in black area).
The Moderation Team and the moderation system remain the same.

Seems like a step backwards. In one of the most recent threads there is someone who has written a meaningless reply but embedded a HTML link in it to some other site. It's too hard to work out how to report it.
I presume we're meant to report it as a "customer support" issue. The only relevant category would then be website issues. To report it I'd have to copy across the message Id. It makes it too hard.

Dont overthink it - tap Help Desk, tap support and just say there is spam in a post - give us any clue what post and we will do the rest.
If its too much bother, dont worry as we have the Modsquad and ourselves looking anyway. It all gets found pretty promptly..

Ok … so we have realised that asking you to alert us via the Help Desk hasn't been as efficient as is required for management of moderators alerts so since we have had a bit more time to look into this today we have created a new button for moderator alert. It may look initially like the old one but the options are different and the system uses a different back end system so let’s see how this works. The old one had to be removed but we think you'll be happy with this. We dont care how we receive your alerts but the previous system was not robust enough for our back end needs.

Thanks David and Michelle
This demonstrates just why ExplorOz works so
well.
Cheers
