Winton, QLD, we received a call over UHF just as a truck passed us: “David & Michelle, hello! It’s Bob
Young here!” Bob Y is a long-time member who has been a great help to many in the ExplorOz community. In fact, just three days ago, his name came up when we stopped by the
Atitjere Community store, currently managed by
ExplorOz Traveller app users Narelle and Steve. We had a great chat, handed out some merch, and snapped a photo with him.

Had the pleasure of meeting Bob many years ago he and his fellow Explorer companions were wandering across the inland
Pilbara, we camped up at
Carawine Gorge before they headed across the western desert region to central Australia, he is a genuinely 'nice Bloke' ~ chuffed to call him my friend.
