Has anyone travelled the
Menindee to Ivanhoe road lately please? Looking to go that way in September. Cheers.

That road is generally a fairly good country road. However, the Central Darling Shire council have cautionary advice on that road. The conditions out there can change quickly, so the best advice will come from the council on phone number 08_8091_5155.
For other good advice, keep an eye on
Live Traffic NSW website and the council's website
Road condition update. Near the bottom of that page, there is a link to a PDF that has a map and table of all the council's through roads on it.

Thanks guys, I tan into a council worker on Sunday morning before I left
Menindee and he reckoned that road should be ok. We hit it and he was correct. It was much better than the Noccundra to
Tibooburra road we did 2 days earlier, even though it was pretty good for a dirt road. The sharp dips were the real problem with that road. Cheers.
