We are planning to travel from
Toowoomba to
Katherine leaving mid next week. But the following is a bit concerning.
A recent ABC article highlighted the damage to NT roads
Rain-damaged Barkly highways
The NT road reports show only a few roadworks

Given the preceding, do any travelers have first hand experience of the highways over the last few days.

Sounds like you'll have to keep your eyes open and expect it will take longer to get there and back.
