Pro's and cons for this system. When we had Thurayla we mainly used it via messages as the delay on voice made it demanding to follow a conversation.
$345 to buy and $32 a month that can be suspended makes it very appealing short term at least.

Stefan Fischer has a quite good comparison of the Garmin Inreach Mini and the Zoleo. If messaging is mainly what you want then the Zoleo is a good option, if you want something to carry in a backpack then the Garmin. As far as I can determine the Zoleo meets my needs best. Note that the minimum initial outlay is for 3 months.
