Has anyyone recently done the Tiboburra road to C.Corner after the recent rain events; planning on taking the Prado and offroad hybrid in 3weeks or so..
Have recently survived the Coburg Peninsular Rd and the Great Central, so the van is robust but we are cheesed off by not getting adequate info. when we seek it.
Anyone been there recently.

Have you given the Corner Store a call, as they would be the most reliable and up to date info….

Road is currently listed as closed. The road from Camerons to
Tibooburra is
well maintained. I'd be more worried about Camerons Cnr west to the Strzelecki if you are doing that as that is ordinary at the best of times. We will be travelling from the Strzelecki to
Tibooburra in a week or so if the road is open. There is more rain forecast.

Thanks Peter for that info, we will contact C.Corner store prior to leaving
Broken Hill. All the best for your trip, perhaps send us an appraisal. We would be doing it around 3rd of March.
Cheers

If you are heading up from
Broken Hill I'd just stop in at the
Packsaddle road house and ask them or speak to Vicki at the
Tibooburra Food & Fuel.
Packsaddle quite often post up road condition maps.

I am doing something similar. We get a
pic of our ute out the front of all the country pubs we visit

If you are doing a little “outback pup crawl”, also stop at
Milparinka. The pup still operates, and the historic buildings are worth a look.

Hi Noelene/Peter b,
The road conditions will change from day to day, any information you receive today, will be almost irrelevant in three weeks time.
I understand you need to know what the roads are like before you set out, but with the way the weather is at present, you would be far better contacting the
Cameron Corner Store a few days before you leave. It would also be prudent to have an alternate route in mind just in case.
Where are you coming from to get to
Tibooburra?
Macca.

Unfortunately this road is still closed. We are heading off Saturday and will spend a dew days in SA but if this road stays closed we will head up to
Tibooburra via
Broken Hill. On the plus side a few of the tracks along the dog fence are open.
