Just looked at their Facebook page. The entry dated 3 hours ago says:

Just letting you know we are closing the doors today ... ??
Don't know for how long ...
This was one of the hardest decision for us to make it definitely wasnt made overnight ....
As you know the Barrier Highway has been pretty quiet for months maybe due to various reasons & its not getting any better.
We have been doing it pretty tuff for awhile.
Tuffer then we did during Covid.
Times seem to be changing less trucks out here and more people are struggling & it has a flow effect on us.
We've done just over 5yrs here first 13mths was a rippa.
Then Covid ....
Two hard arse years which knocked us around which you know we stayed open for the drivers then now this which has hit us harder than Covid.
As I said due to various reasons.
I do really want to thank everyone who has supported us on this wild ride we do really appreciate it.
We have met some pretty bloody amazing people & had some awesome nights, great chats & swapped a few stories.
Please remember go easy on negative comments you are not walking in our shoes.

stopped there 3mths after they opened
It was spirit lifting to see a young bloke having a crack at life.
Made a point of stopping off there in over the years, fuel or no fuel req'd, just have a break & look.
Times be bloody tuff at present, but...it will pass & Aust will continue to bloom, despite the polital misty view of our predicaments.

Stopped there in the freebie on our way East in May. Bought burgers for tea and fuelled up the next morning.
It's really sad when a business closes down. Hope they can get back on their feet.

Received a message yesterday stating they still have 24 hour fuel

Such a shame! We have stopped there twice in the last 12 months. Excellent facilities and friendly staff. Trust they may be able to reopen in the near future.
