Hi, we are wanting to store our Mazda BT50 (with slide on camper) and a 4.3 meter tinny somewhere near
Darwin.
Our retirement plans are to fly from our
home in
Melbourne to
Darwin whenever we feel like a holiday. Probably 2 - 4 time per year. Normal storage centers are very expensive for a permanent arrangement like this.
Does anyone know of any property owners that may be interested in offering a more economical storage arrangement?
Thanks.

Put an ad in the local paper.
And
check the attitude of your insurer.

ps...if/when you get an enquiry from your ad, to be attractive I suggest you offer an annual fee, in advance, whether it is used, or not.
Cheers,
Peter

It will depend on whether you want it undercover or not as that will likely restrict your options and put the price up. If you're on Facebook I would suggest joining one of the
Darwin Buy/Swap/Sell groups, or Humpty Doo and Rural Areas Community to ask. There was a post on the Humpty Doo page this week with someone offering enclosed shed storage and weekend access for $50/item per week. Not sure how that compares to the normal storage centres.
I'm from
Darwin and I live in the rural area, but not in a position to be offering storage unfortunately.
Cheers
Gary
