CW
You can’t convert your bread crumbs (snail trail ) into anything, it is there to see where you have been or are wishing to back track.
But
You can go to export positions in the left hand side menu, enter start /end dates, crop it to whatever start / finish times, name it, save it, in will then be saved in
track logs. It needs to be done from the device you were using for your trip as the data is automatically saved onto that device.
Members also have server tracking but that’s another story.

TrevorDavid is right, CW, he is an expert user of Traveller.
But you need to be aware of the difference between a Track Log and a Trek.
A Track Log is a record of where you've been AFTER you've travelled the route. You cannot use it to get navigation instructions, though at a later date you could just follow the recorded line it makes on the map.
A Trek, on the other hand, is a plan of how to get to where you want to go BEFORE you start travelling. It will give you turn by turn instructions, either spoken or in text.
With that terminology in mind, at this stage there is no method to create a Trek from a snail trail or Track Log. It would be nice if there was :-)
Cheers

I also wanted to save the snail trail to a Trek/log and tried zooming in and using the new ruler system to place points then saving. This gave me a track to follow either way later. I was able to then clear the snail trail.
I hope this helps.

Export positions does this for you, type in start & finish dates, then crop the the times. It’s all there for you. In fact if you haven’t deleted the App and then reinstalled, it will be there from yonks ago. You just have to use the same device that you used when travelling. It’s there even if you’re not using the snail trail.
