Hi all, 3 days ago the map function in
places stopped working. I use Chrome as per Browser/OS Details:
Mozilla/5.0 Windows NT 10.0 AppleWebKit/537.36 KHTML, like Gecko Chrome/104.0.0.0 Safari/537.36,
It works on Firefox which is opposite to some old threads I looked up which had the map fail in Firefox back 10 years ago . I have refreshed Chrome but to no avail. Any suggestions for a quick easy fix??.... W

Do you have an ad or popup blocker enabled? You're using a Mac?

It's an old hand me down unit - but it has cool blue lights. LOL. Not an Apple but Windows 10. Point is that it was OK until 3 days ago. At the same time Windy weather satellite and radar failed. A pop up on that says I need to update WebGL so maybe thats the next step. Satellite
views on BoM , WZ and Elders all OK.

Hi Warrie, yep
EOTopo on the Web within
Places uses WebGL so if you're getting a message to update that this will hopefully fix it. Note Your device might display Satellite maps in
Places if you change the map source top right. David days your device possibly needs new video driver or better video card.

Thanks Michelle. Map will now show any source at top right, it's just blue all over. A new graphics card in an old clunker?? Maybe it's time for a new computer. But the maps still work on Firefox. BTW you two are having a great trip as per daily pix.
