Create track log from snail trail

I have created a personal track log from my snail trail. I can see the resulting track log is divided into segments (1 segment per day). I want to be able to extract just some small portions of "log" from those daily segments. Is there any practical way to do this. Deleting almost all the red dots for a whole day is just not workable.
Also it appears that if I do edit a day's segment, that when I save this it overwrites the track for that day, so how do I create several short
track logs from one day's segment?

Export positions, select dates then trim / crop it.
Zoom in on the mini map after your trim / crop, adjust as necessary, name it, then save.

Thanks David. Great tool and easy to use for most of what I’m trying to do. One point. One of the tracks I’d like to export is only short and only took 5 mins or so to drive and the slider for the timeline can’t give me the precision I need. Any suggestions?

The cropper (slider) should be be able to do what your asking, just slide it on top of the starting cropper. It shows you what the start & finish times are.
