Kununurra Caravan Parks

Hi All.
Just after any suggestions for a caravan park to stay at in Kununurra? Ideally I would like somewhere that we can also leave our trailer there for a week or so while we head off to Berkeley River, then back to stay at the caravan park for a few more days.
I understand that everyone will have a different opinion on the "best" park, but would be interested in hearing why you particularly like it?
Cheers

We stayed at the Ivanhoe Village park in 2016. It's directly opposite the Show Grounds.
The staff were friendly good sites and clean amenities. Also get discount on the Lake Argyle tours .

What about the Lake Argyle caravan park? Not far from town and an excellent place to stay.

Going by the TV news reports the juvenile violence is worrying. Something you may want it investigate.

I’ve stayed at Ivanhoe and Waterfront in Kununurra and at Lake argyle.

As I well as I recall none was more remarkable than the other, though the grassed area by the water at Waterfront was nice in the evening .

Book early.

As for trouble in the town, that seems to be a nighttime thing when we should all be safe in our caravans, campers, tents and swags.

Enjoy. I hope to be back there myself later in the year.

Over the years I have stayed at Kimberley land, Discovery , and lake Argyll.
To me the pick would be Discovery based on the friendly management and proximity to the pump house restaurant.
There were some hilarious things like "George" the pet croc who would nose up to the bank whenever there was a barbeque on, complete with turtle on head.
Kimberley Land was good also but we were warned to be careful at the non power sites down near the water as the crocs like to sunbake there.
When we were at Lake Argyll there was no pool so we swam in the dam , with the wife of the tour operator, only to find that there were crocs now above the wall. They have an infinity pool now. The attached pub was OK for a meal also. The walk to the Durack house is quite onerous on a hot day so take water.
I have spent 2 weeks total in Kununurra waiting for parts .LOL so got to know the place a bit. Never had security fears but a friend who did a bus trip was warned not to walk down the street outside the pub after buying a slab.

We stayed at the one on the edge of the Mirrima NP for a few weeks when we had to wait for replacement suspension to be freighted in . Our Stay was courtesy of RACV's Total Care. Folk at the CP were very helpful & we found the park quite pleasant, especially as we could walk from the CP straight into Mirrima NP. On the outskirts of town. Would stay there again if stopping in Kununurra.
EDIT: It's name is Hidden Valley Tourist Park.

Hidden Valley is a pleasant park - as noted it's on the edge of the "mini-bungles" and there are shady sites.
