Hi all.
Can anyone advise me as to how to get my snail trail to show actual route taken . At present, it comes up as point to point. ie shows as a straight line from start point to present location.
Cheers
Ken

Hi Ken.
The notes say that "the Snail Trail is only generated when the app is running" .
Page 18 of latest manual.
Not sure if this will help. Good luck.
Cheers

Hi Jim.
Thanks for your reply. You are dead right as I notice that at times the snail trail worked as expected then reverted to straight line. Those correspond to times when I turned off my phone to conserve battery while I was trekking!
Appreciate your input.

Ken,
Do you have the snail trail turned on? At the top right of the Traveller screen tap the folded map icon to open the Map Layers panel. Scroll down to Snail Trail and tap Visible if the circle is clear. When active it will be blue.
Cheers

Hi Frank.
Thanks for your reply. I notice that at times the snail trail worked as expected then reverted to straight line. I worked out that those correspond to times when I turned off my phone to conserve battery while I was trekking! Obvious in retrospect! We live and learn.
Appreciate your input.
