I think Peter means Big Horse creek campground. ??
There is also the Bullita Homestead campground if you prefer something a bit further off the highway. Both are easily accessible and pleasant campgrounds. The Big Horse Creek one will likely be busier.

The Keep River NP campground closest to the highway has a wonderful walk through Bungle-like landscape.

Yep :)
Keep River is a spectacular area and good for a few days with some great walks. Highly underrated.

Saddle Creek campground.Toilets & a fair bit of room, though it would get very busy. Enjoy the grandeur of the rocky crags of Desmond’s Passage, as the sun sets.

On the way home or going there would recommend the run from Top Springs thru Victoria River Downs and into Gregory N P. Comes out on the Hwy . A good dirt run thru the N P. We did it on our way home from Kunanurra after a Kimberly trip a few yrs ago.
