Funny enough but that's EXACTLY what I thought the post was going to be about. PS, that's not long grass, when it gets over 3m tall every year, that's long grass

Geez you know the grass is long when you can't even see the cattle !!

We live in West Gippsland Vic and it is pretty much like that here too. The paddocks at present are soaked and we are getting around 15 - 20mm each week. What a stark contrast to so much of the country. I understand that bandicoots still have to pack a picnic lunch to get across the paddocks on the Darling Downs. I reckon your pics will make a lot of cockies weep.
