Has anybody had any experience with this model
UHF radio? Only ever used GME in the past and always found Uniden to sound tinny. I don't use my radios as much as I used to but for $195 with 2 antennas included delivered I thought this seems too good!! Thoughts??
Feedback??
Cheers,
Leroy

Over in WA a UHF etc repair
shop has sign on the counter saying. 'We do not repair Oricom'.
Upon being asked why, 'Cheap electronics was the reply.'
Sorry I cant offer any additional info, I haven't any idea about this brand only reporting what I saw and was told.

Stick with GME , Aussie made, great backup service..
Or
Icom, Japanese and more complex to use...

They are cheap. Better to have one aerial input which works
well than two inputs, neither of which may not work so
well.

Have the remote Mic unit in her car, always gets data noise near the tunnels and toll points. Rang Warren and he said filter must need tuning, wtf. Sent it back and received brand new unit which does exactly same thing . Ok never again. Have the remote Mic Uniden in f truck and it is fine but it was twice the price

Had an Oricom phone once. Put it into orbit out the backyard. Will never touch anything from them again.
