Norweld customised the interior of my canopy, with new draws and shelves to my specs-nothing off the shelf. Good attention to detail. $$. Some people may request your location.

If in, or near
Sydney, Dave Vella from Dave’s Metal Products.
I have had two canopies made for different vehicles by Dave and his team of expert craftsmen.
Daves Metal Products
Good luck with it...

If you are in
Melbourne, try MW Toolboxes. They have several showrooms of which I mainly use Dandenong. I have have several custom boxes built, both chequer and plain plate, with different thicknesses. They will draw your design on CAD in front of you so you can verify the measurements and shape. Their manufacturing plant is in Audsley Rd, Clayton. Some of my boxes are awkard shapes vith various edges. eg safety edge or folded channnel edge. Their prices are good for custom made, and the quality is great. I have no affiliation with this company, only a very satisfied customer

x2 for MW. They are also at Lambton in the
Newcastle area. They built me a custom box for my Tvan to replace the archaic frame that help gas bottles etc on my Tvan.

It is personal preference of course, but I would be very cautious about having boxes up top for wind resistance and side wind catching reasons. Also any weight up there is
well above the normal cruiser height anyway. Troopies being higher as it is.
I had a normal roof HJ61 Cruiser and for a while with a roof rack and not much weight in that, it altered the fuel economy and the handling quite a lot, despite having good
suspension and shock absorbers.
