Hi there,
Does anybody know of a short cut from Marda to Dooling Soak?
Mud Map? Local Knowledge?
Will head out in a few weeks and will make my own short cut if necessary but would prefer not to.
Also
Wogling to
Yerilgee; anyway to get there bypassing
Kurrajong Rockhole? The maps show a track for about 10 kms north west from
Yerilgee, extremely hard to make out on Googlearth though.
Any help appreciated; I want to follow the old track to Ularing but don't want to damage the vehicle to much.
Cheers
Alan

Hi Alan
Have you explored the
EOTopo map on line in this website? If you have a look ( took me a little while to pinpoint it) it might give you a bit of what you want. Will put the link in , but don't know if it will work.

OK, the link just takes you to the
EOTopo map page, but that's OK. You can find your way from there. Go to the
EOTopo Online 2019 .
Cheers

Hi Jim,
Thank you, I have explored this option.
It is too far around, though may be a good escape route.
Cheers

Alan, I'm way off the
places you are interested in so I don't think I'll be able to offer any help, unfortunately.
Sorry about that.

Dooling Soak is around the southern end of the Mt Manning Range. So access is via the track just north of
the gap in the Die Hardy Range along the
Bullfinch Evanston road.

Thanks Rod,
I was hoping for a short cut, as there's at least 4 wells/tanks/gnammas in between Marda and Dooling Soak.
Should be in the thick of it this time next week (4 day recon mission)
Cheers
Alan
