Ozzie, I am like you, just to suddenly change with out warning is a bit disconcerting. An explanation and warning would be appreciated.

Come on guys..don't be negative. Just a new layout. I don't think you will have any trouble. Haven't delved too deep into it but looks good. Change is good for the mind...take on the challenge.
Cheers Greg

No one is being negative - just interested to know what the new layout has to offer - still none the wiser.

Seems we have lost the page up/return to top button? I liked that and used it often and can remember when it was put in place, wonder if it will be re instigated? I will enquire.

Easy to put it back in just removed it during dev as it kept getting in my way. Would it be better contained in the footer or was the floating position important?

On Android Samsung Browser has those features as standard on all web pages. Also has the ability to place scroll bar on left hand side.

Yeah, but the scroll handle disappears and you have to scroll a bit (ie, drag) to make it reappear before you can use it. I much prefer David's floating up arrow, particularly on long threads with many replies and follow-ups. One touch from anywhere in the thread and you're back at the top.

This is getting as bad as Woolworths where they keep moving the placement of the Cornflakes without notifying the general public.

Now I seem to have lost the ability to only open the unread parts of any particular post. When I go to a post it opens everything.

Hi Chris
Looks like you had a great trip away as always, I must give you a call.
I have tried to locate the
Members List, but still can not find it, or is it hiding?

When I first opened the new site I wondered what I had done wrong
Within a very short time I was in and exploring
Looks so clean, neat &
bright
Much more to explore yet but I reckon you have done a great transformation

Hi Michelle and David
Is it possible to have a look at the editing process while you are playing?
Not sure if it happens in all platforms, but on my iPad when you edit the text collapses and all returns are removed which need to be replaced manually.
Cheers
Anthony

That behaviour was fixed relatively recently on the old site software, but now has returned. I, too, would like the retention of white space when opening an edit window.

Hum I did fix that!
I have not changed the process!
Or so I thought!
This is now a
test that I will use the play with and correct the error.
I will report back in here once I have solved it.
Bloody computer programs!!!!!

I think the
Forum is too wide on the screen (laptop).
Maybe make it a bit narrower and put the Menu (
HOME, PRODUCTS etc) vertically down the right hand side.

I like the clean look
