Hello, I have a 2019 prado that is 8 months old and has had a paint defect “clear coat splat” since factory.
Toyota have said they can respray at local smash repair under warranty.
Would you do? Am just a little scared
I also have a few rock ships on bonnet so think it would be good to fix everything.
Let me know your thoughts
Cheers
Brent

What are your reservations Brent? As long as the repair place is good and Toyota warrants the work it would seem to be a "no brainer".

Is that the one which had a different door shade posted previously? It looked as though the dealer or delivery system had marked it and had the panels repaired. That would possibly be a bit different then. Straight from Toyota, probably not. If Toyota will respray and refinish to OE look, then why not have it done. If the paint shop has high work standard it will be a great result. You can show the panel shop the issue and ask not to have it like that again. Anyone with pride in their business and work, will make it good again.
