Im in the market for a new aluminium canopy to go on my tray top and am having difficulty in finding any manufacturers that people have used and can recommend.
Any suggestions as to who fellow off roaders have used would be appreciated.
I will fit it out myself.
Many thanks

Happy with my Spinifex Canopy.... maybe throwing up your location would help unless you are happy to travel to get it.

Oops. Good idea. I'm on the mid North coast of NSW but happy to travel 500km or so.
Looking for a smooth skin, not checker plate one.
Thanks

I think they also do smooth skin canopies, but best to
check with them....had no dust ingress issues on
mine after plenty of outback dirt roads. It’s the same canopy company that is used in The Offroad Adventure Show, and I was told by someone involved with them that they’ve made comment about how impressed they were with theirs keeping the dust out

Budget range would also help.
I’ve got a Concept Canopy, made in
Brisbane. Really
well built and dust proof but not cheap.

I also have a Concept Canopy. Have had it for nearly 10 years and no problems. These canopies were the ones used by All 4 Adventure until recently.
Well built and their use of extrusions make the fitout easy.

Parafan,
All 4 Adventures uses Norweld Canopies, and have done for at least the last 3 years.

Correct but they were using the Concept before. Maybe I should not have said "recently" but just trying to give the poster an idea of quality

I’ve got 2 canopies made by Dynamic Engineering & Fabrication, of Hervey Bay Qld.
One checker plate, the other mill finish but painted white. Excellent workmanship, and strong. Have a look

Have a look at Norweld in Brisbane/Sunshine Coast, expensive, but very
well built.

I have one from Ally Arc in
Toowoomba. Made to my specs and thus far no issues, have had it about 5 years now. He also made my current Alloy tray and also dog crate. Happy to think outside of the box.
Cheers Kev

G’day workhorse. Try a call to Obeico Industries In
Tamworth and ask for Serge. Have used their canopies for over 20 years and can not fault them. Expensive but like most things “you gets what you pay for”.
Cheers

I’ve had two made by Dave Vella at Dave’s Metal Products at Wetherill Park in
Sydney.
Quality product and not the cheapest, but expertly crafted.
