Day one is underway

Just waiting for the fire to create coals before the roasts go on.

That photo will really get up the nose of those who reckon a fire should be about as large as 3 matchsticks!

the pork roll was cooked by Sir Kev on his fantastic open-air rotisori and it tasted as well as it looks.

I reckon the twins should be given Free Lifetime Membership as a reward for being the youngest to attend a National Gathering!

Cheers

Just got home late on the 05th arfter visiting family on the way back in the western districts. What a great time Judy and I had, and the company was exceptional. Billy is a bloody slave driver when it comes to the chainsaw ( yes em boss ) being politically incorrect. Much fun was had around the campfire. Many thanks go to Nick and Jane for the effort in the organising of the event. One of the most outstanding memories will be the huge meal that Di the Station owner put on for us, as a group dinner.
location - Warragul -Victoria

Hi all

Arrived home Sunday

Thanks to Nic and Jane for putting together a great Gathering. It was nice to meet everyone we met last year and several new faces who I knew from names only on the forum.

Also a big thanks to Dianne and Ian for putting on a lovely dinner and sharing Paika station to the members.

I would recommend to anyone else on the forum If you are in the area it’s a great place to camp or stay in the lovely accommodation they have available.

We will keep you up to date with the arrival of the twins

Cheers to all

Mike and Steph. ( the newlyweds)

I see Blister...…… I mean Billy was working hard cutting firewood LOL

Was not much left of that pile when we left, I think Ian was a bit shocked we cut so much and filled his stockpile up for him.

Looking forward to seeing snaps of the Twins when they arrive, just remember if they are Boys their names are Kev and Billy, and if Girls they are Kevie and Billie hehehehe

See you again next year in SA hopefully

Cheers Kev
