Can anyone advise the current condition of this road? Will be travelling through in late July with c/t.
Also which are the best campsites in the area.

You would be better asking at the info centre closer to the time of travel.

also ..Its been a while but.... Kooljaman is i think where we stayed great spot inc a nice restaurant / cafe etc, they also have a FB page
Middle lagoon i think was the other place that we stayed it was a bit more
bush camping at the time but also GR8
1st half of the rd into
cape Leveque is unsealed , can be slow going and
conditions would change regularly
If they still have the fish
farm at one arm point is another great thing to do & the
beachers are unforgettable up there .
safe travels

Drove back from Kooljamin today from
Cape Leveque to
Broome. Road condition was great, saw lots of large dual axle vans doing the road. It is smooth sailing most of the way, looks like it’s just been graded. Much better than the GRR. Looks like they are sealing the rest of the road too.... can highly recommend kooljamin - camped in a beach hut and was great. Although need to
check whether they allow big vans in there.
